What to bring:
Cash pledges – please bring any cash pledges you may have collected along with names and addresses of the donors for tax receipt to ensure your supporters receive their tax receipts! ; Keep track of your cash and cheque pledges using this form purposes
Water bottle (we will have water onsite for you to fill your bottles with)
Hat / sunscreen / protective wear
Cash for raffle table, ALS Double Play lifestyle gear and ice cream!

Markham Civic Centre - 101 Town Centre Blvd., Markham (north west corner of Hwy 7 and Warden Ave.)
Registration Opens at 8:30am

Q. Is there parking?
A. Yes, there is lot of free parking available at the Markham Civic Centre.
Q. Are there washrooms?
A. Yes, we will have portapotties available. Please contact us for information regarding accessible washrooms.
Q. Is food provided?
A. Yes, light refreshments will be provided to participants after the walk. We will have a potable water truck on-site. Please remember to bring your own water bottle. If you forget yours, we will have some for sale.
Q. Will there be other items for sale?
A. Yes, ALS Double Play will be selling logo’d lifestyle gear. Show your support of ALS Double Play and help us raise awareness by wearing branded tees, hoodies, and other lifestyle merchandise.
New this year will be a "Children's Village" with lots of fun games and treats for the kids.
New also is a "Choose Your Prize" Raffle Table - With prizes like a 48" LED Samsung TV, Blue Jays and Raptors Tickets, you will want to buy tickets! Prices for tickets: 1 for $5, 3 for $10 and an arm's length for $20. You must be present to receive your prize.
Q. My friends are SO last minute. Can they register to participate on Walk Day?
A. Yes of course! The more the merrier, however, we cannot guarantee incentives and walk t-shirt availability.
Q. Are you dog friendly?
A. Of course! Our pooches are part of the family too. Please feel free to bring your leashed pooch and their poop bags with you. We will have dog bowls and water on-site.
Q. What if it…gulp…rains?
A. ALS is a disease that nothing can stop. We won’t let a little rain stop our fun! Please wear appropriate gear if it sprinkles. We are all in! (If there’s lightning, please stay tuned to our social media.)
