Jeff, Paul, and Sally DaFox: Driving Change Through Community
This summer, Jeff rallied his friends Paul and Sally DaFox, who run a car enthusiast group, to host a fundraiser on our behalf. Together, they raised and donated over $3,000—a remarkable gift that will directly support ALS research and awareness. Beyond the dollars, what inspires us most is the way their passion for cars became a vehicle for compassion. It’s a reminder that any interest, hobby, or gathering can be transformed into a force for good.
The Baseball Zone & Terriers Baseball: Striking Out ALS, Together
For the third year in a row, The Baseball Zone and Terriers Baseball hosted their Annual Strike Out ALS fundraiser. This year’s highlight was a spirited game between the U17 team and their coaches—a matchup filled with energy, laughter, and a shared sense of purpose. And the best part? This is just the beginning. The Baseball Zone and Terriers Baseball have committed to continuing their fundraising efforts throughout the year, proving that teamwork extends far beyond the diamond.
Raising Awareness Beyond the Field
As part of this growing partnership, our Executive Director, Cherrie-Marie Chiu, was invited to join the Canadian Baseball Network’s podcast. In the episode, she shared updates on ALS research and spoke about the incredible impact of the Baseball Zone and Terriers Baseball community. Opportunities like this amplify our message, reaching new audiences and sparking conversations that matter.
